Thin G10 Liner Material 0.5 x 130 x 305 mm available in multiple colours. Often used in crafting applications for a thin strip of contrasting or complimentary colour. In our case, we find it is an excellent option for protection between soft case lithium cells and custom projects when a thin, yet durable insulation material is needed. Description
G10 Features and Benefits
- Hard, dense, stable and wear resistant composite material made from layers of glass fiber laminated together with resin
- Makes for an extremely durable knife handle material and is commonly used on production knives, especially modern folding knives
- Can be finished with texture for grip or sanded to 600 grit then buffed to a fine polish revealing the very fine chatoyant layers of glass fiber
- Approximately twice as heavy as wood and 35% heavier than micarta
- Currently available in black, blue, tan-desert, purple, pink, orange, red, toxic green, toxic yellow and white
Note: dust protection is a must when cutting, grinding and sanding G10 as the dust produced will contain small glass fibers.
