Victron MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-50 230V
Incorporating all the features of the MultiPlus inverter and charger combinations, the Multiplus II adds an external current sensor option to enable the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to extend to 50A and 100A respectively. It can be used in off grid as well as grid connected PV and other alternative energy systems and is compatible with both solar charger controllers and grid-tie inverters. Added to this, with many countries approving the unit for ESS application this unit is able to feed back into the grid, any power excess to requirements.

PowerControl is a valuable feature, especially when handling limited power such as generator supply. When the Quattro draws significant current from the generator or shore side supply, set the maximum current limit on each AC input. Considering other loads, the Quattro adapts so that only surplus power is used for charging, thus preventing the generator or mains supply from being overloaded.
The PowerAssist feature will enable the device to supplement the incoming power with power from the battery. Any excess power is used for charging. It is therefore no longer necessary to size a generator on the maximum peak load. Use the most efficient size generator instead.
The advanced ‘adaptive charge’ software fine-tunes the three-stage automatic process to suit the battery condition and how the battery is being used, preventing damage and ensuring less maintenance is required. A fourth stage charge [also called the Storage mode] delivers a longer period of float charging. In addition, the Multiplus will charge a second battery using an independent trickle charge output.
Should there be a grid failure the UPS capability of the inverter is automatically activated. With some units having the ability to enable 6 Multis operating in parallel there is potentially close to uninterrupted and unlimited power.
If three phase power is required, then multiple units can be connected in parallel and configured with the combinations delivering up to 75KW/90 kVA inverter and more than 2000 Amps charging capacity.

Inverter/Charger with GX inside
The MultiPlus-II GX is an Inverter/Charger with device networking built-in, the MultiPlus-II GX communicates with a solar charger, batteries, and other devices to control a grid-connected, off-grid, or remote power installation. Capable of parallel operation for increased power output, or battery charge-rates, the MultiPlus-II GX can also be configured for three-phase supply. A host of advanced features – such as uninterrupted power supply, setting load limits, and supplementing limited grid-power availability with battery power – can all be controlled straight from your phone or smart device. Remote monitoring is also possible.

The MultiPlus-II GX integrates a MultiPlus-II inverter/charger and a GX device with a 2 x 16 character display.
GX Device Inbuilt
The integrated GX device includes:
- A VE.Can interface. This can be used to connect to Victron VE.Can devices (eg VE.Can MPPTs), or the port can be reconfigured via the Remote Console for use with a compatible CAN-bus Li-ion Battery.
- A USB port.
- A Ethernet port.
- A VE.Direct port.
Display and Wi-Fi
The display reads battery, inverter and solar charge controller parameters.
The same parameters can be accessed with a smartphone or other Wi-Fi enabled device.
Applications
The MultiPlus-II GX is intended for applications where additional interfacing with other products and/or remote monitoring is required, such as on-grid or off-grid energy storage systems and certain mobile applications.

Victron Quattro 48/15000/200-100/100 230V VE.Bus
The Quattro has two AC Inputs & two AC Outputs meaning two independent power sources can be connected, such as a generator or mains power. The Quattro automatically selects the input where voltage is present with the generator input taking priority.
PowerControl is a valuable feature, especially when handling limited power such as generator supply. When the Quattro draws significant current from the generator or shore side supply, set the maximum current limit on each AC input. Considering other loads, the Quattro adapts so that only surplus power is used for charging, thus preventing the generator or mains supply from being overloaded.
The PowerAssist feature will enable the device to supplement the incoming power with power from the battery. Any excess power is used for charging. It is therefore no longer necessary to size a generator on the maximum peak load. Use the most efficient size generator instead.
The automatic and uninterruptible switching will ensure that if the power supply fails, the device will switch over to inverter operation so fast that loads will be unaffected, making this device an ideal choice for emergency power situations and telecommunications applications.
For three-phase operation, three units can be configured, and additionally, potentially unlimited power supply can be achieved with the Multiple System Integration function, which allows for up to 6 Qattros [24/3000/70, for example], to operate in parallel providing 15kW / 18kVA output power and 420 Amps charging capacity.
For split phase operation, two Quattros would be stacked to provide 120-0-120V, and additional units can be paralleled up to a total of 6 units per phase, to supply up to 30kW / 36kVA of split phase power.
The Quattro can be used in off grid as well as grid connected PV and other alternative energy systems. Loss of mains detection software is available.
Configuring parallel and three-phase systems is made simple with the VEConfigure software tool – the Interface MK3-USB is required.

Smart Battery Sense is a wireless battery voltage and temperature sensor for Victron MPPT Solar Chargers. With voltage and temperature sense in place, batteries will be better charged; improving charging-efficiency and prolonging battery life.
Features:
Improves battery charging- By measuring voltage at the battery bank terminals, errors arising from voltage-loss due to cable resistance are avoided – guaranteeing the correct charge-voltage. For lead batteries, battery temperature data is used to adjust the charge-voltages: cold batteries require an increased charge-voltage, whereas hot batteries require a decreased charge-voltage. For lithium batteries temperature data is used to disable charging when they are too cold: charging lithium batteries near or below freezing causes permanent damage to the cells.
Look no wires- The connection between Smart Battery Sense and one or more Solar Charger(s) is wireless: It uses VE.Smart Network – a wireless technology based on Bluetooth Smart. Information transmitted can be used simultaneously by one, two or more Solar Chargers connected to the same 12V, 24V and 48V battery bank. The Smart Network is set up using the VictronConnect app.
Tidy, simple – smart- Installation is simple, quick and tidy. Just connect the unit’s two eyelets to your battery terminals and attach the Smart Battery Sense unit directly onto the battery-body using its self-adhesive strip.
