We specialise in all things off-grid power, from cables to complete systems, DIY, to custom lithium solutions and everything in between. 


From humble beginnings, we now run Western Australia’s largest, public off-grid solar warehouse, jam-packed full of new and used off-grid solar products. We are a West-Australian family-owned and run business but customers Australia-wide can shop at their leisure through our secure online store.

 You might notice something a bit different about what we offer, we stock a huge selection of second-life products and that’s because we’re not just passionate about the best tech, but sustainability too. Over 80% of panels taken down from rooftops across Australia are still completely functional and ideal for use in low voltage applications. 
We embody circular economic principles, which means recognising the value of maximising usable product life, repurposing and finally recycling once an item has truly reached the end of its life.

In a consumerism-driven world, we want people to know that there is an alternative, a genuinely ‘green’ choice. We can provide them with an eco-friendly solution that can give them all the power they need. You can read more about our sustainability measures here.


Alt-Tech is a supply only company, this means you can work with your preferred local installer whilst benefiting from engineer designed systems and ongoing product support from our in-house tech team.

Jarrod | Technical Sales Consultant
Generally found wandering the dunes and camping spots around this great state, we occasionally get to tie him to a chair and (ab)use his mad skills. If you’re baffled by tech jargon, Jarrod will break it down in a friendly, down-to-earth way. Supposedly he is studying Mechatronics Engineering (unless he has invented a time machine, we dont believe it because he spends so much time camping) He is your go to for spicy cabling design!
Jonas | Technical Sales Consultant
Our resident Electronics Engineer – always busy testing products and conquering RMA’s. When he has a free moment its a toss up between a deep dive into technical specs….. or dog videos!! Pretty much everything in this mans life can be solved with a furball or a Victron Multi RS.
Bryne | Technical Sales Consultant
The third member of our mechatronics trio, Bryne is the latest addition bringing his skills to the technical sales team.
Luke | Design Guru
Mr Mechatronics Engineer and so much more, Luke combines his 3D design & engineering skills to get creative with R&D behind the scenes. If you have seen any of the great custom built products around the shop they are bound to have been through this young mans head and come out as a physical working product. P.S. if you manage to catch him on the sales floor he is chock full of knowledge on pretty much everything in store and loves to solve a puzzle.
